Once in a Village…

The wise elders warned the villagers against cutting down the trees in the forest to make way for more houses and fields to grow food, but they did not listen. The rain did not come that year, or the years after that. Through the villagers’ suffering, this story illustrates the importance of conserving and giving thanks to nature.
